We felt profound shock and sadness when we have learnt and seen the horrible images of the devastation caused by the earthquake that has visited Haiti (on January 12, 2010), particularly its capital city, Port-Au-Prince, and the surrounding areas.

As Burç Intercultural Centre, we would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to the Haitians for the loss of life and who have loved ones there, as well as to the families of the bereaved and those who have been injured in the earthquake and in its aftershocks. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the victims of this terrible tragedy. May God give them strength in this difficult time.
