Burç Intercultural Center's 2nd Annual “DIALOUG AND FRIENDSHIP DINNER” took place on April 21st at University of Calgary. The event was in sprit of peace, dialogue, diversity and multiculturalism in Calgary.  The dinner was accompanied by a key note speech and presentations.
The participants included respected individuals and intellectuals from all walks of our lives: Politicians, Academicians, Civil Servants, NGO Representatives, Artists, Business Man, Sportsman, Press etc.
Theme of the Night was:
“Family of Families Living in the House of Calgary”

1-This is a topic within the context of multiculturalism and diversity and at the same time iterates importance of dynamics/relationships/diverse values within a “family”. Hear the family can be seen as a single family or within the context of “one family” with diverse background and belief systems living in the house of Calgary.

2- Differences among people be it norms & values, religion, appearance, politics etc. can be bridged over through dialogue.

3- Core family values in the context of a Multicultural society.  Just like we would like to be identified as “xyz family”, why not be proud of to be identified as “Calgary Family, Calgarians or Albertans”.
